Education

High School

I grew up in Syosset NY between the time of 1969-1987. I attended and graduated from Syosset High school. I would have to say that I learned a lot from attending this great High School. I probably would not have some of my opportunities, that I have had, without the knowledge that I have gained from this school.

I graduated from Syosset High, June of 1987.

Nassau Community College

I attended Nassau Community College about a year after I was released from the US Navy. I started Nassau Community College in the Fall of 1993 and finished in the spring of 1995. My major was Liberal Arts and Science, Math and Science. It was while taking this major, I found a love for Math.

Most importantly, I cannot forget to mention, the most incredible event in my life. It was while I was attending Nassau Community College, that I met my wife Theresa. I met Theresa in the fall of 1993 in a health class that I had to take. My life has been an incredible journey ever since.

In the spring of 1995, I received an Associate of Science and was inducted into Phi Theta Kappa. The national Honor Society for two year colleges.

Adelphi University

I attended Adelphi University from the Fall of 1995 to the Spring of 1998. I attended Adelphi University because of their reputation in the field of Math. It was while I was attending Adelphi University, where I fell in love with Computer Science.

Finally I found an area that had a practical application of Math. It was while I was attending Adelphi, where I became fascinated also with the Internet and web page development. Adelphi, at that time, gave all students web space so we could publish our own web pages. It was also then I realized that using Frames, is a very bad thing (LOL).

I graduated from Adelphi university the spring of 1998 with a Bachelor of Science and a dual degree of Computer Science and Mathematics. I was inducted into the national honor society Pi Mu Epsilon, for Mathematics.

Hofstra University

I attended Hofstra University the Fall of 2001 to the Spring of 2003. It was while I was a graduate student at Hofstra University, where I became fascinated in the area of Artificial Intelligence. In particular, I became fascinated with having computers see in 3D.

My area of research at Hofstra was in the area of Computer Vision and 3D recognition. I had the opportunity to work on a joint research project with Steven's Institute of Technology in New Jersey. It was during this research project, I learned how to develop calibration software for the vision system of the project.

In the Spring of 2003, I received my Masters of Science in Computer Science. I was also inducted into Upsilon Pi Epsilon. The national honor society for computer science.
